Dog seizure. Three minutes of fast work shutting off most lights and sounds, getting D#1H up to help reassure her, closing doors, and saving her tail from getting sprained (literally, it got shoved in a tight spot during one of the shudders and I had to get it out before she yanked it in a bad direction). Forty minutes of helping her reboot the system to the point that she can go back to bed, re-medicated and re-fed, on clean bedding. If that's it for tonight, no point in seeing the doc tomorrow, as all indicators and evidence will have vanished from her blood streem within four hours or so.
Mifune ate out of her bowl with her. She didn't mind, so I know she's the same dog we had yesterday. I have this worry that one day, she'll come out of the seizure a complete, hostile stranger. Our poor puppy. She's always so scared when she first gets the ability to walk back. She doesn't know what she's looking for -- unless D#1H isn't around, then he's certainly part of it -- but she knows something awfully bad got her and hurt her.
