Those're the places I can remember being. I've heard stories about things I did in Kansas during a trip from Indiana to California, but I can't really recall any of it myself. I do remember coming down out of Canada to visit Glacier National Park in Montana, while we were driving from San Pedro, CA, to Cape Cod, Mass.
And that reminds me:
New Alabama Residents, recently transferred from Virginia:
Welcome! We're glad to have you here, whether it's for BRAC or the many technology-oriented businesses in northern Alabama. As you see, we have plenty of room for expansion!
I'd just like to take this opportunity to murmur a friendly note in your ear. You see, unlike in Virginia, you can rest assured that no one here in Alabama will penalize you for allowing a following distance between your front bumper and the next vehicle's rear extremity. Really! In fact, we ENCOURAGE you to let at least enough space that your daddy could lie down between and not get his head crushed! In that way, northern Alabama is not like Virginia at all.
Thank you,
the other drivers on the road
