I've resisted the LJ phenomena for quite a while, but some conversations happen only among members, and I have a terribly hard time resisting a good conversation.

Also, this is a terrible font.  Arial?  Likely.  I'll be trying to adjust this, and checking out that "voice posting" thing over yonder, just as soon as I finish getting acquainted with the service.
